Meet Abi Harrison - Specialist in School Psychology
Meet Abi, the founder of Leveling Up Psychoeducational Assessment and Consultation and a seasoned school psychology specialist. With a background in economics and government from The University of Texas at Austin and advanced degrees from Loyola University Chicago, Abi brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her work. Abi is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) and licensed in the state of Texas.
Prior to starting her own business in 2018, Abi spent five years serving students, families, and teachers in the inner city and greater Chicago area as a school psychologist providing group and individual counseling, assisting campuses in implementing Tier 1 social-emotional learning curriculums and providing individualized evaluations for students in need of special education services. Since moving back to Texas in 2016, she has continued to work with school districts in the Austin area, applying her expertise to help students achieve academic, social, and emotional success.
Abi is passionate about finding solutions to complex problems and empowering students to reach their full potential. She believes in the importance of comprehensive assessment and consultation in order to identify and address the root causes of any learning or behavioral challenges students may be facing.
